With the exception of information you authorize us to send to your doctor or pharmacy to fill your prescription, DestinationRx will not knowingly give, sell, rent, or loan any personal information to any third party... PERIOD! To do this, we employ the best technology available, coupled with our solemn commitment to protecting your privacy.

Our Third-Party Privacy Validation

TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build users' trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe. By displaying the TRUSTe trustmark, this Web site has agreed to notify you of:

Our Security System is State-of-the-Art

We employ only the latest available Internet security systems to protect your personal data from any unauthorized use. We store all confidential information on databases that sit behind state-of-the-art redundant firewall systems. We take technical, contractual and administrative steps to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information within our control.

We ensure that our employees are aware of our security policies and practices at time of hire and through periodic company-wide email reminders. All employees are required to sign strict confidentiality agreements upon hire. Only selected employees have access to our databases, and may do so only upon entering a double password protected access program.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We ensure that our Web security is reviewed at least monthly, to assure the proper operation and protection of our entire database. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt that information using Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. How We Collect Information (Registration)

At Registration

To allow you access to our premium content, we ask at membership registration that you share some basic personal information with us (specifically your name, email address, gender, date of birth, phone number and street address).

You can also provide optional pharmacy and doctor information once you have become a DestinationRx member to help our vendor partners process any orders you may place with their company. If you are filling prescriptions for family members, you can provide the family member's name, doctor and pharmacy information for order fulfillment purposes. All doctor and pharmacy information is completely optional, although it is required if you wish to automate the transfer of order information to our vendor partners. This information is not required in order for you to enjoy our services.

IP Tracking (Log Files) and "Cookies"

In an effort to continuously improve and personalize our Web site to your needs, DestinationRx tracks IP addresses and uses random number assignments on a user's hard drive (called "cookies") to track general and aggregate Web browsing patterns such as content preferences and traffic patterns. The use of cookies simply gives us basic general information such as how many times a user has visited our site in a given month, and what pages the user has visited. This helps us personalize the usage of the site to your browsing pattern. From time to time, we may have arrangements with third parties who provide or track usage of sponsored links that we believe may be of value to our customers. These parties include advertisers who may also use cookies to serve advertisements that may be of interest to you.

We also employ "Cookies" to allow you to save the minimal amount of your personally identifiable information (including your member ID and email address) in order to login and access your account, without the inconvenience of having to re-enter your user password for each login. This way, we can be aware that you are a returning customer and that in turn allows us to provide you with the most efficient and relevant services and products you are interested in. Be assured, however, that at no time, shall users' individual personal information be disclosed to any third party, unless prior authorization is obtained from you.

If you are concerned about this type of tracking, you may always disable cookies by resetting your browser, but doing so may have disadvantages, such as not being able to participate in our periodic giveaways and sweepstakes.

Surveys

We may also conduct voluntary surveys from time to time, for the purpose of improving our services and to deliver to you a more personalized service. For instance, we may ask whether you've purchased an OTC product in the past 30 days. Such survey results will be displayed as aggregate results, and may be shared with third parties only to illustrate samplings of our users and general browsing preferences. At no time shall individual identities be released, without your prior consent.

Communications With You

From time to time, and only if you have agreed to do so by registering with us, we will send you certain correspondence, with information you specifically requested. These will take the form of emails, online newsletters (also in form of emails), pop-up windows, promotional and confirmation letters. In addition, we will send you an email should there be any changes to our site that may affect your use of our site. These changes may include, changes to our privacy policy, terms and conditions, new available features, and deleted features.

Your Account Information is Always Protected

DestinationRx considers your private information very seriously. As a result, we will never share personally identifiable information with any third party, unless we first obtain your permission. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

We may, however, share aggregate statistical information regarding our customers, traffic patterns, and site usage with our partners, each of whom is bound by their own privacy policies and applicable laws. This information will always be in aggregate and will not be individual and personal in nature. For instance, we may provide statistical information that 50,000 users clicked on a particular ad banner, and of those, half had previously indicated their interest in such types of ads. We will never inform our partners of information such as, who, individually clicked on the banners, and we will not release any other personal information, unless we specifically obtain your prior consent.

DestinationRx partners with third parties to provide a more comprehensive service offering to you such as third party content, links, sponsored messages, etc. These parties are not allowed access to personally identifiable information, including emails, nor do they require such access to provide their services. DestinationRx does not share email information with its partners, preventing them from sending any emails to you directly. We require all such vendors and partners to adhere to our confidentiality and privacy standards and to destroy any customer data in their possession, if any, once the services are completed. However, DestinationRx is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these partner Web sites. Any personally identifiable information you choose to provide to the partner Web sites will be governed by the terms of the partner Web sites' privacy policies.

Third Party Links

You may see various links throughout the site that lead to you another Web site, outside of DestinationRx. These sites may include our affiliates, partners, sponsors, etc. Because these links are third party links, DestinationRx is not responsible for the privacy practices or any privacy issues that may arise on the linked sites. Please refer to the respective third party's privacy policies.

Occasionally when linking to a third party site, you may still see the DestinationRx Web site's logo or frame. This is to provide you with a seamless experience when visiting our Web site. In these cases where you are no longer on the DestinationRx Web site, you will see the message "Thank you for using DestinationRx. You have now left our site." You are now on a different Web site whose information collection practices may differ from ours. The privacy policy of the third party site you are on will govern how information collected from you is used.

Advertising

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our site. This company may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to our site in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. In addition, we share Web site usage information about visitors to our sites with this company for the purpose of managing and targeting advertisements and for market research analysis on our site. Opt-In and Preference Changes

Should you wish to stop receiving particular newsletters, promotions, or other communications from DestinationRx, you may deactivate such future e-mailings by simply logging into your account and then clicking on the "Manage Account" button and then clicking on the "Contact Info" option. From there, you may opt out of your previously chosen mailing preferences.

You may also edit your personal profile from the "Contact Info" option.

Tell-A-Friend

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. DestinationRx will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. DestinationRx stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact DestinationRx Customer Care by clicking here to request the removal of this information from our database.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will refer to those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email and wait for your consent. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
